Description
Warm earth tones, a refined design language and a surface that recalls handcrafted micro-cement: the Verse Cotto brings depth and warmth to spaces without overwhelming them. The large-format 120x120 cm square gives floors and walls a calm, clear structure that suits both modern and homely interior styles.
Material Properties and Installation
The tile is made from glazed stoneware and features a matt surface in warm cotto tones. The rectified format allows very narrow grout joints and gives the room a clean, refined finish. For this large format, we recommend using a decoupling mat and a levelling system to achieve a precise result.
Everyday Applications
Thanks to slip resistance R10 and barefoot area classification B, the tile is also suitable for shower areas and pool surrounds. Abrasion class PEI IV makes it durable enough for high-traffic areas such as entrance halls. Whether in the living room, hallway or bathroom, the Verse Cotto can be used on both floors and walls.
Frequently Asked Questions
What effect does the cotto colouring create in a room?
The warm cotto tones add a natural depth to any space and work particularly well in combination with light walls or natural materials such as wood and linen.
Is the tile suitable for shower areas?
Yes. The slip resistance R10 and barefoot area classification B make the Verse Cotto suitable for shower rooms and pool surrounds.
Can the tile be used in entrance areas?
With abrasion class PEI IV, it is designed for areas with high levels of wear, such as entrance halls, and stands up to daily use.
What does rectified mean for this tile?
Rectified means the tile has been precision-cut to exact dimensions. This allows narrow, even grout joints and a particularly clean laying pattern.
Why is a decoupling mat recommended?
With this large format, the substrate can move slightly. A decoupling mat reduces tension between the substrate and the tile, protecting against cracks over time.
