Augustus Brown Natural Anti-Slip Glazed Porcelain Tile 60x120 cm, R10 B, Rectified

Warm earth tones have a particular presence in a room. The Augustus Brown Natural carries that warmth, as glazed porcelain stoneware with a marble look, fine relief structures and a depth that makes any space feel more inviting. The matt surface softens the light gently and brings a natural calm to the whole.

Safety for Bare Feet

The anti-slip surface R10 B provides reliable grip in showers, around pool surrounds and in other barefoot areas of Class B. With abrasion class PEI IV, the tile is also suitable for high-traffic areas such as entrance halls.

Large Format, Carefully Installed

The rectified 60x120 cm format allows for precise, minimal-grout-joint installation on both floors and walls. For this large format, we recommend using a decoupling mat to prevent stress cracks over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this tile suitable for shower areas and pool surrounds?

Yes. The R10 B slip resistance makes the Augustus Brown Natural a safe choice for shower areas, pool surrounds and barefoot areas of Class B, in private and commercial settings alike.

Can I lay this tile on both the floor and the wall?

Yes, the Augustus Brown Natural is approved for floor and wall use. This makes it easy to create a cohesive look in the bathroom or entrance area.

What does rectified mean for this tile?

Rectified tiles are cut to exact dimensions after firing. This allows for very narrow grout joints and a particularly clean installation, which is especially beneficial with large formats like 60x120 cm.

Why is a decoupling mat recommended for this format?

Large-format tiles are more sensitive to movement in the substrate. A decoupling mat counteracts these forces and protects the tile from stress cracks over time.

How durable is the tile in heavily used areas?

With abrasion class PEI IV, the Augustus Brown Natural is designed for high demands and can be used in entrance halls and other heavily trafficked surfaces.
