Augustus Pearl Matt Porcelain Tile 60x120 cm, Marble Look, Anti-Slip R10, Rectified

A hint of pearl that never dazzles. The Augustus Pearl in its matt finish wears its tone with quiet restraint, and that is precisely what makes it so elegant. The fine marble structure works softly beneath the surface, while the generous format gives the room depth and clarity.

Marble Look with a Matt, Safe Surface

The Augustus collection translates the aesthetic of a Central Asian marble into modern glazed porcelain stoneware. The Pearl variant comes in a light, subtle pearl tone that feels particularly pleasant with its matt surface. Thanks to its slip-resistant property R10 B, the tile can be used safely in wet areas such as showers, pool surrounds and public bathrooms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the tile safe when children or older people use the bathroom?

With slip resistance R10 B, the Augustus Pearl offers reliable grip even on wet surfaces. It is explicitly approved for shower installations and pool surrounds, making it well suited to family bathrooms and public wet areas.

Can I also install the tile on walls?

Yes, the Augustus Pearl is approved for both floors and walls. On the wall, the matt surface in its pearl tone creates a calm, high-quality accent that combines easily with other materials.

What does barefoot area Class B mean?

Class B means the tile is suitable for barefoot areas with an increased risk of slipping, such as showers, pool surrounds or access areas to diving pools. This provides additional safety in everyday heavily used wet areas.

Why is a decoupling mat recommended?

With large formats such as 60x120 cm, tensions can build up in the substrate. A decoupling mat absorbs these movements and protects the installation from cracking later on.

What level of wear is the Augustus Pearl designed for?

With abrasion class PEI IV, the tile is suited to high-traffic areas such as entrance halls. The matt surface is more robust in everyday use than polished variants and shows signs of wear less visibly.
