Large Format, Rectification and Processing Notes

The square format 120x120 cm in a rectified version ensures a precise grout joint pattern and a striking surface effect. The thickness is 9 mm. We recommend laying this large-format product on a decoupling mat to prevent future stress cracks. Manufacturer dimensions are nominal dimensions and may differ from the actual measurement. This tile is available as an order item.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does beige in a terrazzo look work in an open living area?

The warm beige with the terrazzo pattern creates a calm, inviting atmosphere. It feels lively and homely rather than sterile, and looks especially good over large surfaces.

Which areas is this tile designed for?

It is suitable for floors and walls in interior spaces. The abrasion class PEI IV makes it suitable for heavily used surfaces such as entrance halls, hallways and living rooms.

What effect does rectification have on laying?

Rectified tiles are cut to an exact size. This allows narrow, even grout joints and a particularly clean laying pattern, which is especially effective with large formats.

Why is a decoupling mat recommended?

With large-format tiles, stresses in the subfloor can transfer to the tile. A decoupling mat reduces this risk and protects the tile in the long term.

Does this tile suit warm interior styles such as Japandi or Boho?

The warm beige in a terrazzo look works well with natural materials, light wood tones and understated colours, as commonly found in Japandi or Boho concepts.
