Description
A deep black that does not overwhelm the room but gives it presence: the Nordic Volcano in 60x60 cm format makes a clear, confident statement. The matt surface with its fine stone look feels refined and restrained at the same time, ideal for those who love contrast and appreciate a clean aesthetic.
Material and Surface
The tile is made from glazed porcelain with a matt black stone look. Subtle veining brings the surface to life without detracting from the depth of the tone. The rectified format allows narrow, precise grout joints and a striking laying pattern.
Applications and Safety
With slip resistance R10 and barefoot area class B, the tile is also suitable for shower areas and pool surrounds. The abrasion class PEI IV ensures durability under heavy use. Approved for floors and walls. We recommend using a levelling system during installation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does black feel oppressive in a small bathroom?
The matt finish and subtle stone look reduce the heaviness of the black. Combined with light walls or white sanitary elements, it creates a modern, balanced contrast.
Is the tile safe in wet areas?
Yes, with R10 and barefoot area class B, it is also suitable for shower areas and pool surrounds.
How durable is the tile in everyday use?
With abrasion class PEI IV, it is also suitable for heavily used areas such as entrance halls or high-traffic corridors.
What does rectification offer at 60x60 cm?
Rectification allows precisely straight edges and very narrow grout joints, making the large-scale black laying pattern particularly effective.
Do I need a levelling system?
Yes, for a professionally aligned and level installation, a levelling system is recommended for this format.
