Description

Neither starkly cool nor obtrusively warm: taupe hits exactly the note between styles. The hexagonal tile in this understated earthy tone adds depth to a room without dominating it, harmonising with both light and dark interior concepts.

Material and Surface

The tile is made from glazed stoneware with a matt surface in a concrete look. The subtle colour variation (V2) gives the surface a lively quality. Rectified edges allow precise installation with minimal grout lines. Thickness is 9 mm. The use of a levelling system is recommended for optimal installation.

Applications and Safety

Suitable for floors and walls, for example in bathrooms, hallways or living areas. R10 slip resistance provides secure footing in damp rooms. Barefoot area class B permits use in shower rooms and at pool surrounds. With abrasion class PEI IV the tile is durably suited to high-traffic areas such as entrance halls. Frost-resistant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What goes best with the taupe hexagon tile?

Taupe is a neutral earthy colour that pairs well with warm wood tones as well as cool grey and white shades, making the tile easy to integrate into a wide range of interior styles.

Can this tile be laid in a shower area?

Yes. With barefoot area class B it is suitable for shower rooms and pool surrounds.

Is the slip resistance sufficient for families with children?

The R10 slip resistance provides additional grip in wet areas and is classified for bathrooms and public sanitary facilities, which is particularly reassuring for families.

How durable is the tile in everyday use?

Abrasion class PEI IV means the tile is designed for heavily used areas such as entrance halls and retains its attractive surface finish over time.

What does the V2 colour variation mean for this tile?

V2 indicates a slight colour variation. Individual tiles differ minimally in tone and texture, creating a naturally lively surface without appearing restless.
