Ceppo Greystone White Terrazzo Tile Matt Rectified 60x120 cm

Fresh, clear and full of character: the Greystone White brings the lively play of the terrazzo look into a contemporary format. Fine inclusions and a soft white tone give rooms a sense of lightness without feeling sterile. Whether in a generous living room, open kitchen or modern bathroom, this tile lends the floor a calm, confident presence.

Terrazzo Look That Feels Like Home

The terrazzo pattern is experiencing a true revival in interior design, and for good reason. The look is warm enough for living spaces and cool enough for minimalist concepts. The matt surface pleasantly reduces light reflections, making the floor easy to live with even in bright, sunny rooms. Combined with natural wood, the tile feels particularly homely; paired with dark metal or anthracite walls, it creates a sharp, urban contrast.

Installation and Technical Properties

The Greystone White is made from glazed porcelain stoneware and is rectified, meaning precise edges for especially narrow grout lines. With a thickness of 9 mm and a format of 60x120 cm, it is suitable for both floor and wall use. The abrasion value PEI IV makes it robust enough for heavily used areas such as entrance halls. For this format, installation on a decoupling mat is recommended to prevent stress cracks over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this tile in an entrance hall or other high-traffic areas?

Yes. With an abrasion value of PEI IV, the tile is suitable for heavy use, including entrance halls and other frequently trafficked interior areas.

Is the tile suitable for both floor and wall?

Yes, the Greystone White is approved by the manufacturer for both floor and wall use.

What does rectified mean and what are the benefits?

Rectified tiles are cut to exact dimensions after firing. This allows for very narrow grout lines and a particularly clean, uniform installation pattern.

Why is a decoupling mat recommended?

With larger formats such as 60x120 cm, temperature fluctuations or subfloor tensions can cause cracks. A decoupling mat absorbs these movements and protects the tiles in the long term.

How does the matt surface perform in everyday use?

Matt surfaces are less sensitive to fingerprints and light reflections than polished alternatives. This makes them especially practical and pleasant for daily use.
