Description
Expansive, calm and with a fine texture that radiates naturalness: the Nordic Pearl in the large 60x120 cm format brings a clear, generous feel to the room in silver. The matt surface with subtle veining looks refined and timeless, whether in the bathroom, hallway or open living area.
Material and Surface
The tile is made from glazed porcelain with a matt silver stone look. Fine veining gives the surface natural depth. The rectified 60x120 cm format allows very narrow grout joints and an impressive surface effect. Due to the format size, we recommend installing on an uncoupling mat to prevent stress cracks over time.
Applications and Safety
With slip resistance R10 and barefoot area class B, the tile is also approved for shower areas and pool surrounds. The abrasion class PEI IV stands for robustness under heavier use. Approved for floors and walls. The use of a levelling system during installation is also recommended.
Frequently Asked Questions
What effect does the 60x120 cm format have on the room?
Large-format tiles with very narrow grout joints make rooms appear significantly more spacious. The rectangular 60x120 cm format is particularly suited to giving long surfaces such as corridors or bathrooms a unified and generous appearance.
Why is an uncoupling mat recommended?
With large formats such as 60x120 cm, temperature and moisture fluctuations in the substrate can create tension that may cause cracks in the tile. An uncoupling mat significantly reduces this risk.
Is the tile safe in wet areas?
Yes, with slip resistance R10 and barefoot area class B, it is approved for shower areas and pool surrounds.
What does abrasion class PEI IV mean?
PEI IV stands for high durability. The tile is therefore also suited to heavily used areas such as entrance halls or busy corridors.
Is a levelling system required for installation?
Yes, for this format we strongly recommend using a levelling system to ensure a level and evenly jointed result.
