Description
Black can whisper. The Nordic Volcano tile does exactly that: with its deep matt surface and fine stone veining, it makes a clear statement without dominating. A floor or wall in Nordic Volcano gives any room a strong, quiet presence.
Dark Stone Look with Depth
The glazed porcelain in a rich black feels lively and natural thanks to the subtle grain. The matt surface absorbs light in a pleasing way and creates an atmosphere that is both modern and timeless. The generous 60x120 cm format underlines this calm, powerful effect.
Safe and Resilient
Nordic Volcano is suitable for floors and walls. The R10 slip resistance and barefoot area class B make the tile a safe choice in shower rooms and wet areas too. The abrasion rating PEI IV stands for longevity even under heavy use. The rectified edges allow for precise, minimal-grout installation. For this format we recommend a decoupling mat and a levelling system.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Nordic Volcano also work in smaller rooms?
Dark tiles can make a room feel more intimate, while at the same time creating a remarkable depth and atmosphere. Combined with light walls or furniture, Nordic Volcano looks stylish even in smaller spaces.
Is the tile suitable for shower areas?
Yes. With R10 slip resistance and barefoot area class B, it is suitable for shower rooms and pool surrounds and provides secure grip.
How durable is the tile in everyday use?
The abrasion rating PEI IV shows that Nordic Volcano is durably resilient even under heavy use, such as in frequently trafficked areas.
What is the benefit of rectified edges with this tile?
Rectified edges allow for very narrow grout joints, which further emphasises the clean, modern look of the tile.
What accessories are recommended for installation?
For the 60x120 cm format we recommend a decoupling mat to prevent stress cracks and a levelling system for even installation.
